Guiding you towards a fulfilling life
With over 30 years of experience in the field of counseling, I have developed a unique approach to anger management coaching, teaching and communication training which I offer online using Zoom. We can also work with Facetime or Google Duo. In 1 Peter 4:10 we are told to "minister to one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God." I endeavor to carry out that mission through online counseling and coaching. I hold a Master's degree in Psychology from the University of Texas in El Paso. I am certified as a marriage communication instructor by the PREP program at the University of Colorado. In Texas, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I look forward to working with you online.

I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. By identifying and working towards their goals, my clients are able to unlock their full potential and create a life they love.
My philosophy is that examining and changing our beliefs enables us to create healthy emotions, attitudes and behaviors which will create hope for a bright new future.
You must be transformed by renewing your mind: Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, in order to prove by you what is that good and pleasing and perfect will of God.
Anger Management Certificates are available for people who have completed either the basic 8 hour training program or the advanced 12 hour program which adds BIP (Battery Intervention and Prevention) training to the basic curriculum. Clients can schedule weekly appointments or even schedule several hours in a week to advance more quickly. I only work with clients on-line. Fees are charged for individual services. No in-person or face-to-face sessions are available. On-line video telehealth services using Zoom, Facetime and Google Meet are convenient and can be offered to more people. My online services are designed to help clients overcome obstacles, improve their mindset, and achieve their goals. I have 30 years of experience teaching anger management.

The first mistake people make is believing that someone else is controlling them. Correcting this thinking error is the first key to learning anger management. People get angry when they think they are being controlled. They didn't like being controlled when they were children and they don't like it as adults. The difference we forget about is that parents and teachers did have authority to control us when we were children. But now, as adults, we really are free to do as we please. An employer has no power to make you go to work. It really is your choice. A spouse might not want you to go fishing but it really is your choice. It is true that other people might want to control or to manipulate you, but it is also true that they can't actually make you do anything that you do not choose. The liberating truth is that unless you are a child or under arrest no one controls anything you do! A second mistake people make is believing they have any right to control anyone else. Unless you are the parent of a young child or unless you happen to be a police officer, you have no authority to control what anyone else does. You have every right to ask and persuade but you must allow others to make their own decisions. You are always free to do whatever you like! All of our decisions do have consequences, so we should consider them carefully and prayerfully. The big point is that you always have choices and it is a thinking error to believe that anyone is controlling you. When you change your perceptions and beliefs and realize you are always free to say "yes" or "no," you will free yourself from a lot of anger and resentment. God has given you free will. As an adult, you are free to make your own choices!
